The Budu Liberian Refugee Children Project is an outreach organization that was established in 2002 by a group of educators at the Charter School of Science and Technology who felt the need to provide free computer, reading, and counseling services for children and their families at the Buduburam Liberian Refugee Camp located in Ghana, West Africa.

A refugee child can be sponsored at a cost of $100.00 for one year. This amount covers tuition and uniforms. If you are interested, you have the option to pay the full amount or make three payments during the year. Please make check payable to Budu LRCP.

Majority of the refugees have not therapeutically addressed their traumas experienced from the civil war. This was evident when the Director of the project held a group counseling session with parents at the refugee camp.
