The Budu Liberian Refugee Children Project is an outreach organization that was established in 2002 by a group of educators who felt the need to provide free computer, reading, and counseling services for children and their families at the Buduburam Liberian Refugee Camp located in Ghana, West Africa.

A child can be sponsored at a cost of $100.00 for one year. This amount covers tuition and uniforms. If you are interested, you have the option to pay the full amount or make three payments during the year. Click on the "Donation" button on the left of this page.

With the aid of our donors and the dedication of Budu Children’s staff, refugee children and other children in similar condition will obtain proper education, live descent lives and positively affect our global community.

Budu Children shall provide orphans and underprivileged children with free:

q      Computer services

q      Reading classes

q      Food, clothing, and basic necessities

q      Counseling

Stephen Grellet

1.To reduce illiteracy rate among young children in Third World Nations with emphasis on Liberia. By providing scholarships for Elementary and Junior High students, computer training for the same targeted group and establishing and managing learning institutions for underprivileged children.

2.To create a renewed sense of hope and purpose for traumatized mothers and their children after the emotionally devastating civil war.
