The Budu Liberian Refugee Children Project is an outreach
organization that was established in 2002 by a group of educators who felt the need to
provide free computer, reading, and counseling services for children
and their families at the Buduburam Liberian Refugee Camp located in
Ghana, West Africa.
A
child can be sponsored at a cost of $100.00 for one year. This
amount covers tuition and uniforms. If you are interested, you have
the option to pay the full amount or make three payments during the
year. Click on the "Donation" button on
the left of this page.

With the aid of our
donors and the dedication of Budu Children’s staff, refugee children
and other children in similar condition will obtain proper
education, live descent lives and positively affect our global
community.

“I
shall pass thru this world but once. Any good thing therefore I can
do, or any kindness I can show to any human being let me do it now.
Let me not defer it or neglect it. For I shall not pass this way
again.”
Stephen Grellet

1.To reduce illiteracy rate among young children in Third World Nations with emphasis on Liberia. By providing scholarships for Elementary and Junior
High students, computer training for the same targeted group and
establishing and managing learning institutions for underprivileged children.
2.To create a renewed sense of hope and purpose for traumatized
mothers and their children after the emotionally devastating civil
war.
